Seven distinct films of modern Turkish cinema for cinema lovers

The popular actor Burak Özçivit in Greece

Fans of Turkish cinema enjoyed important films by prominent directors of contemporary Turkish cinema in view of the three-day Turkish Film Days held at Michalis Kakogiannis Foundation.

The opening gala event took place along the premiere of the film “My Brother“, in the presence of the popular actor Burak Özçivit, who starred in the film, known in Greece from the TV series “Kara Sevda“. In addition to promoting Turkish cinema, the event also aimed to support the Association of Friends of Children with Cancer “Elpida” and raise public awareness about the Association’s activities.

The Turkish Film Days was organized by the Office of Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Embassy in Athens.
