A campaign to inform and raise public awareness about the treatment of respiratory diseases
and in particular Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, launched by the Hellenic Thoracic Society HTS.
“Care for your lungs…like for your eyes! ” is the awareness campaign’s title for the treatment of respiratory diseases and in particular Asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease implemented by the Hellenic Thoracic Society.
The campaign’s aim was to upgrade the health of the citizens.
The campaign was based on a “friendly” video animation (2′ duration) with central heroes, a middle-aged man, a woman and a young man who “turn a blind eye to the symptoms”, thus burdening their daily lives and a specialist doctor (pulmonologist), who in a simple and direct way explains the risks of these symptoms and the importance of early diagnosis. The awareness campaign, in addition to showing the video animation on social networks and television, included open events in municipalities, speeches, research in doctors of the specialty.
