ELPEN MISSION DIABETES

370 students, 25 Primary schools in the most remote areas of Greece, 3 large organizations that joined forces for a wonderful “trip to the Greek borderland, with Health as a compass!”, carried out by specially trained nurses of the Greek Red Cross, aiming equal access of students to knowledge of basic principles of First Aid and accident prevention. The program was implemented with exclusive sponsorship of ELPEN, in collaboration with the Hellenic Red Cross, and organized by Agoni Grammi Gonimi. The trip had as a destination 7 Aegean islands: Naxos, Ikaria, Thassos, Koufonisia, Psara, Tilos, Samothrace, 10 villages of the Prefecture of Evros: Kyprinos, Rizia, Kastanies, Nea Vyssa, Orestiada, Lepti and Ferrono butles, Dadia Alexandroupolis Special School, and 8 villages of the Prefecture of Ioannina: Kalpaki, Konitsa, Delvinaki, Rodotopi, Loggades, Bafra-Neokaisaria, Zoodochos, Kryfovos.
